Paper Folding is 12 questions in 15 minutes and the section applicants fear most. A sheet of paper is folded one or more times, a hole is punched through it, and you choose the pattern of holes you would see when it is unfolded. It is pure spatial visualization — and it is the most trainable section on the battery.

Spatial reasoning: holding a shape in your head and transforming it. The trade rationale is real — reading isometric drawings, visualising a rolling offset, and seeing how an assembly goes together before you build it are all the same faculty.
It is only 12 questions, but it is the section where untrained applicants score closest to random. That also makes it the section where a couple of weeks of practice moves your ranking the most.
Do not try to picture the final unfolded sheet in one jump. Undo the last fold first: mirror the punched holes across that fold line. Then undo the fold before it, mirroring everything you now have. One reversal at a time is reliable; a single mental leap is not.
A punch that passes through every layer produces one hole per layer. One fold means two layers and two holes; two folds means four; three folds means eight. Counting layers first often eliminates two or three answer choices instantly, before any visualisation.
Every hole reflects across the crease to the same perpendicular distance on the other side. A hole close to the fold stays close after unfolding; a hole near the outer edge lands near the opposite outer edge. Distance from the crease is the thing to watch, not the general area.
This is the one section where physical practice beats screen practice outright. Fold a sheet, punch it with a pencil, and open it up. Half a dozen sheets and the transformation stops being abstract. After a week you will not need the paper.
